Trading Luxury for Pavement: Fundraising for Homelessness!
For the first time, I will not be tucking my 18-month-old
son, into bed, I'll be stepping out from the warmth and comfort of our home to
sleep outdoors. Every night, thousands of Australians struggle with
homelessness—a stark contrast to the luxury and comfort we provide at our
hotels. This year, I’m swapping out the plush amenities to participate in the
Vinnies CEO Sleepout. This effort is to raise money for the St Vincent de Paul
Society to support Australians in need.
By sleeping outside, I aim to raise awareness and underscore
the harsh realities of homelessness, highlighting the critical need for
support. It's an eye-opening experience that starkly contrasts with my daily
environment, and it’s a choice I make willingly to help those without one.
I need your support to break the devastating cycle of
homelessness. Will you help me reach my target? A donation of $100 can make a
significant difference to those who need it most. Let’s bridge the gap
together.
